The Sanctuary Guard's are mostly non-Ascended men and women who have chosen to defend the Vigil with the force of arms, placing their mortal lives on the line in the name of righteousness. They may be simple people, but never look down on them. If they die, they do not return. [1]

The Sanctuary Guard is the crusading army of the Guardians. After the victory against the Gedlo the Sanctuary Guard traveled North to free the homeland from the taint of the rifts.[2]
