Armorsmithing

From Telarapedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Armorsmithing is the crafting profession with which you can create Chain and Plate armor as well as shields. Outfitting is used for leather and cloth armor.

Armorsmiths benefit most from the Mining and Butchery gathering professions. Ore is required for both Chain and Plate armor. Hides from Butchery are only required to make leather for Chain armor, with wood gathered from Foraging being required for some shields.

Trainers and Recipe Vendors[edit | edit source]

Trainers[edit | edit source]

An Armorsmithing trainer can only teach you recipes and profession levels up to his own level. This means a Novice Armorsmith NPC will be unable to teach you a recipe for which the Skilled Armorsmith profession grade is required.

Trainers can be found in the following locations:

Guardian Areas[edit | edit source]

Defiant Areas[edit | edit source]

Contested Areas[edit | edit source]

Salvaging Armor[edit | edit source]

Armorsmiths can break down a piece of armor into base materials using the Salvage Armor ability.

The targeted item must be of uncommon rarity or better.

For more details, see Salvaging.
