In combat, a Critical Attack is an attack that hits the target for higher than normal damage.
As of Beta 5, both melee and spell critical attacks cause a base damage of 150% of normal attack damage.

Physical Critical Attacks[edit | edit source]
The chance of making a physical Critical Attack is determined using the following formula:
1 point of Physical Critical Rating on a Rogue equals +0.03791% chance to Critically Hit
1 point of Physical Critical Rating on a Warrior equals +0.044% chance to Critically Hit
Note: You also receive +0.06% chance to Hit Critically for each Character Level.
The base Melee/Ranged Critical Rating is determined by a characters Dexterity:
1 point of Dexterity equals 1 point of Critical Rating.
Spell Critical Attacks[edit | edit source]
The chance of making a Critical Attack with a spell is determined using the following formula:
1 point of Spell Critical equals +0.0379% chance to Critical Hit
The base Spell Critical value is determined by a characters Intelligence and Wisdom:
1 point of Intelligence equals 0.5 points of base Critical value.
1 point of Wisdom equals 0.5 points of base Critical value.

Spell Critical is now 100% Intelligence.
