Foraging is the gathering profession that involves the collection of diverse plants and sorts of wood found throughout Telara. Foraging is especially useful for the Apothecary and Artificer professions as well as Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing.
Trainers
A Foraging trainer can only teach you recipes and profession grades up to his own Foraging grade. This means a Novice Forager NPC will be unable to teach you a recipe for which the Skilled Forager profession grade is required.

Requirements for Foragers
Foraging is a profession devoted primarily to gathering by finding plants and wood locations throughout a Forager's travels. These are spread throughout Telara and as you gain character levels, so too do plants and wood require higher skill levels before you can Forage for them. Once such a location has been found the player can collect the wood or ingredients from plants. Players can spot the gathering locations by activating their wood and plant skills; these act as persistent buffs which stay on your character even when switching between multiple roles. When you are in the vicinity of wood or plants they will show up as diamonds on your mini-map.
Trained Recipe List
These can be learned at the Foraging profession trainer once you meet the required profession level. All recipes require a workbench.
In addition to creating the following items from collected Wood Foragers may also collect Ingredients from Plants.
