Rift:Planes of Telara, or Rift, is a Free-to-Play (previously Pay-to-Play subscribtion based), massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG). It has been under development by Trion Worlds since 2006[1], and was released on March 1st, 2011. It features dynamic content, of which the most visible type gives the game its title, Rift.
