This list is for the Archmage abilities and traits. The Archmage is the PvP soul tree for the Mage soul.

All mana, damage and healing numbers are for rank 1 of the spell only.

Nenvin's Lament.png Nenvin's Lament 0/1 5% instant 3 minutes Fills the Mage with power, giving their next damaging spell a 100% chance to crit. Requires Disastrous Consequences
Disastrous Consequences.png Disastrous Consequences 0/2 instant Each time you critically hit a player your spell critical hit chance is increased by (5/10)% for 10 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 20 seconds. Requires Double Tap
Silent Restoration.png Silent Restoration 0/2 instant When you are stunned or silenced by a player (5/10)% of your mana is restored. Requires Steelweave
Ward of Detection.png Ward of Detection 0/1 5% 25 instant 30 seconds Places a Ward of Detection on the ground at the targeted location which reveals any stealthed enemies in, or entering, the area. Lasts 30 seconds. Requires Silent Restoration
Hastened Withdrawl.png Hastened Withdrawl 0/2 instant Gives you a (5/10)% chance when taking physical damage from a player to dispell all movement impairing effects and increase your movement speed by 50% for 6 seconds. Requires Nenvin's Lament
Overload.png Overload 0/3 instant Increases the damage of critical strikes by (10/20/30)% against players. Requires Resilient
Improved Break Free.png Improved Break Free 0/3 instant Reduces the reuse time of Break Free by (10/20/30) seconds. Requires Silent Restoration
Concentration.png Concentration 0/2 instant Reduces the pushback received from melee attacks by (25/50)%. Requires Ward of Detection
Collateral Damage.png Collateral Damage 0/5 instant Your single target damage spells have a (5/10/15/20/25)% chance to apply 50% of the damage to all enemies within 5 meters. Requires Hastened Withdrawl
Withered Veins.png Withered Veins 0/5 instant Your single target non-instant damage spells add Withered Veins to players, reducing healing received by (1/2/3/4/5)%. Stacks up to 5 times. Last for 10 seconds. Requires Overload
Improved Rune Shield.png Improved Rune Shield 0/5 Adds (5/10/15/20/25)% to the amount of damage Rune Shield absorbs. Requires Improved Break Free
Ethereal Shell.png Ethereal Shell 0/5 instant Whenever you are afflicted by Stun, Root, or Silence, you take (3/6/9/12/15)% less damage from players for the next 5 seconds. Once triggered, this effect may not occur again for 15 seconds. Requires Concentration
Nyx's Manipulation.png Nyx's Manipulation 0/1 9 30 instant Curses the enemy, doubling the mana cost of their spells and reducing the mana cost of the Mage's spells by 50% for 15 seconds. Requires Collateral Damage
Rift Tomb.png Rift Tomb 0/1 30 instant 2 minutes Blasts the enemy with negative energy, knocking them back 15 meters and banishing them for up to 10 seconds. Consumes Charge while active. Requires Withered Veins
Mana Shield.png Mana Shield 0/1 5% instant 3 minutes Shields the Mage, causing any damage dealt to them to be reduced by 50% and dealt to their mana pool instead, for up to 12 seconds. Requires Improved Rune Shield
Immovable Object.png Immovable Object 0/1 instant 5 minutes Shields the Mage, reflecting all control and movement impairing abilities for up to 10 seconds. Consumes Charge while active. Requires Ethereal Shell

Break Free.png Break Free 1% instant 2 minutes Removes all control and movement impairing effects. Does not trigger a global cooldown.
Phase Shift.png Phase Shift 20 channeled 5 minutes Channels arcane energies around the Mage, removing all curable debuffs and rendering them immune to damaging and curable debuff effects for up to 10 seconds. Consumes Charge while channeled.
Degeneration.png Degeneration 10 1% 30 channeled 30 seconds Channels dark energy into the enemy player, dealing 164 Death damage over 3 seconds, and removes a single buff effect from the enemy player each second.
Detaunt.png Detaunt 5 5% 30 instant 1 minute Reduces the enemy's damage against the Mage by 50%. Any hostile action against the enemy will cancel the effect. Only works on players or player pets.
Ward of Detection.png Ward of Detection 13 5% 25 instant 30 seconds Places a Ward of Detection on the ground at the targeted location which reveals any stealthed enemies in, or entering, the area. Lasts 30 seconds.

Rune Shield.png Rune Shield 15 instant 1 minute Consumes all of the Mage's Charge and places a rune on the Mage for every 20 Charge consumed. While the Mage is affected by a rune, incoming ability damage is reduced by 25%. Each time the Mage is damaged by an ability 1 rune will be removed. Lasts up to 30 seconds.
