When I first started the game, I noticed a lot of "tearing," the Vsync alone made this unnoticeable for the most part, but the SS/AA got rid of it entirely. If you have issues with tearing, I highly recommend enabling Vsync if your GPU can handle it. The GTX460 is by no means a really high end graphics card, so the fact that it can play on ultra settings is fantastic considering how gorgeous the games graphics are.
